I was a dancer and entertainer in Miami Beach for many years. Lived at 3rd and Michigan Ave in South Beach. Won a dramatic scholarship in 6th grade and attended the Ruth Foreman School of Dramatics. I moved to PA in 1969. Have lived here ever since. I am married to a wonder man Robert, have 2 wonderful sons, Harris 36 and Garrett 34, two wonderful daughters-in-law Angela and Abbey, and 3 amazing grandsons, Davis, Hayden and Cameron and FINALLY a granddaughter, Ava! Love them all to the moon and back. I have worked in education for 25 years; 9 as an assistant teacher in ESL and Kindergarten and the last 16 as an Administrative Assistant to the Director of Athletics and Student Activities. I loved my job and my boss, who was like a third son. It was very hard for me to leave and retire, but I did almost two years ago. My husband and I love to be with our grandchildren and travel when we can. We were in Israel two years ago, and will now travel to Turkey, Greece, and the Greek Islands, G-d willing. Not sure if we will make the reunion, not many of my close friends are around. Thanks to those who arranged this and anyone who remembers me and wants to contact me, please do! |

I have wonderful memories of our Beach High days and many of those "rooted" friends have become lifelong. The sunshine of my life are 3 children and 7 grandchildren. Wishing everyone health, happiness and looking forward to our 50th reunion (amazing how time flies). I still think of us as kids at heart!

In our senior year high school yearbook, I wrote that I wanted to achieve succuess early and retire at 25. Well, I was right about achieving success, but I was off by 41 years in predicting when I would finally retire! Upstate New York is beautiful what with Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains, but we freeze our asses off every winter. So as of last year, we now spend part of the winter in geriatric heaven... a condo in a gated community in Deerfield Beach. I am looking forward to seeing my fellow classmates at our half century reunion so I can show off my trophy wife...Shelley won best latke maker at our temple's last Hanukkah fry off!!To me, old age is always fifteen years older than I am. - - - - Bernard M.
