I married Paul Goldberg (Beach High 1963) and we had my only child Lance. Lance lives in Playa Del Rey, CA and he is a successful painting contractor. Lance has 4 adopted & 2 biological children, ranging in age from 3 to 36 and they are all my shining stars! We get together 1-2 times per year.
I earned my BA in psychology from UF and MS in counseling from Barry U. For the past 30 years I have been a medical/vocational case manager for people injured on the job. I direct their care through the medical system and assist them with return to work in their former job, sometimes with modifications or facilitate transition to a new job within their physical abilities. I am also a member of Canine Companions for Independence and volunteer at St. Francis Pet Care in Gainesville. I am married to Chuck Siegel, my best friend for over 30 years and moved back to Gainesville in 1997. Chuck is a retired insurance broker and owner of Daytime Dogs & Friends LLC, a pet care company in Gainesville. We enjoy traveling, snow skiing, kayaking, sailing, biking, our beach condo & our 2 golden retrievers, Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds & Maxwell Silver Hammer as well as time with family. |

I married in 1978 after finishing Law School at Duke and a two year tour in the Army. Moved to Chicago in 1975 and have practiced law in the "Windy City" ever since. In Chicago I was an Assistant United States Attorney before joining a small intellectual practice firm. My area of speciality became Patent litigation. Seven years ago I joined Katten Muchin and recently became of counsel or as I refer to it almost retired. We have two daughters , both of whom live in Chicago. Our eldest is a married attorney and mother of our grandchildren. Our youngest has an MBA and MEM from Duke and works for a solar company in Chicago. My wife and I love to travel. In January we were in India and just prior to the reunion we are going to Northern Spain. Looking forward to attending the reunion in November.

My wife Karen and I live in Lakeside, a fairly rural area outside of San Diego -- we have been here since 1979. --- Our family lives close by -- our son is a nurse and our daughter is in the restaurant business and had blessed us with three grandsons. I recently retired after 44 years working in Special Education, both as an owner / operator of 8 six-bed group homes and as a Director of specialized Nonpublic schools in and around San Diego. I have specialized in working with children and adolescents with autism, emotional disturbance, and developmental disabilities, all with histories of chronic and severe social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. -- I have kept busy in retirement with local volunteer gigs -- I work at the San Diego Zoo, and am a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) working with the juvenile courts and foster care system. We also travel when we can and maintain a nice sustainable year-round backyard garden. My doctorate is from USC in Special Education, specializing in Behavior Disorders. San Diego has been paradise (second only, of course, to THE BEACH) and our 36 years here have been incredibly rewarding. I keep in touch with many of our "65 classmates and look forward to the 50th.If you're ever in San Diego, give us a call -- we would love to see you, show you around, and get re-acquainted. |
